Imogene “Jean” Rutledge Phillips, 92, of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2019 at an Etowah healthcare facility. She was the owner/operator of House Movers Inc. for many years. Jean was a member of Heritage Fellowship Church of God. She enjoyed riding through the mountains and in her younger days, fishing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Elsie Bearden Rutledge; son, Wayne Phillips; grandson, Joe Baker; and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her daughters, Tina Baker of Riceville and Brenda “Sissy” Willis of Cleveland; five grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give special thanks to Hearth Hospice, Starr Regional Health & Rehab Center and especially Lora Baker for the loving care they gave Jean.
Her family will hold a private service at a later date.
