Betty Kaye Smith

Betty Kaye Smith, 72, of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2019 in a local healthcare facility.  She was of Baptist faith and was retired from Whirlpool after forty-four years of service.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Lizzie Mantooth Kersey and siblings, Kenneth Kersey, Roy Kersey, Billy Kersey, Bobby Kersey, Ruthanna Kersey-Suggs and Grace Disharoon.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Donald Smith of Cleveland; sister, Patsy Kersey Williams and husband, Ronald of Cleveland; brother-in-law, Jimmy Disharoon of Cleveland and many nieces, nephews and loved ones too numerous to mention.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2019 in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pastor David Evans officiating.  Chris Williams, Cole Williams, Mike Averett, Brandon Smith, Mike Brown and Jeremy Kirby will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 on Friday, August 9, 2019 at Fike-Randolph and Son Funeral Home.
