Donald Stanton Epperson

Donald Stanton Epperson, 93, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2019 at his home.  He was born in Charleston on December 20, 1925.  He retired as a truck driver from Cleveland Express after 30 years of service.  Donald attended North Cleveland Baptist Church with his family, but was a lifelong member of Charleston United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by her parents, James Harrison Epperson and Martha Stanton Epperson; brother, J. H. Epperson; and three sisters, Virginia Tinsley, Ruth Trimm and Peggy Marr.

Survivors include his devoted and loving wife of 66 years, Betty J. Epperson; his son, Donnie Epperson; daughters, Donna Remillard and husband, Wayne and Connie Earby and husband, Ralph; sister, Sophia Jane Tucker; brother, Mart Allen Epperson; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Greg Parker.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, 2019 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Dr. Jay McCluskey officiating. 

His family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 7625 Hamilton Park Drive Suite 6, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
