Virginia D. “Bill” Epperson McClure, 87, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019 at a local hospital. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Ethel Stonecipher Epperson; husband, W. P. “Jack” McClure; and sister, Wanoka McClure.
Survivors include her children, Doug McClure and wife, Charlotte, Benita Walsh and husband, Terry and the prodigal son, Jerry “A.J.” McClure, all of Cleveland; four grandchildren, Pam Gibson, Anthony McClure, Whitney Walsh and Colby Walsh; five great grandchildren, Alex Riley, Colin Riley Kaylynn Walsh, Noah Walsh and Sophie Walsh; sister, Jo Ownby of Cleveland; special cousin, Janet “Little Sister” Hunt of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.
The service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2019 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Cameron officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Springs Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
