Ruth Farris Campbell

Ruth Farris Campbell, 85, a life-long resident of Cleveland, went to her heavenly home surrounded by her children on Sunday, June 2, 2019.  She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church for over 60 years and enjoyed the Grace Ladies Sunday School class. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Delbert Campbell; parents, Will and Mary Emma Farris and siblings, Walter Farris, Leonard Farris, Essie Derrick, Martha Taylor, Margaret Bishop and Nell Parris.

Survivors include her children, Joyce (Dan) Elliott, Pat (Ronnie) Whaley and Eddie Campbell, all of Cleveland; six grandchildren, Wendy Doty, Jeremy White, Justin White, Brandi Pirkle, Tanner Whaley and Blake Cantrell; two step-grandchildren, Teri Boyd and Sara Hayes; seventeen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Wilma Wilcox and brother-in-law, Roy Lee Stepp.

The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2019 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Cawood and Justin White officiating.  Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Jeremy White, Justin White, Blake Cantrell, Clint Pirkle, Tanner Whaley, Matt Doty and Collin Doty serving as pallbearers.

Her family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at the funeral home.
