Patricia A. Day

Patricia A. Day, 64, of Cleveland, moved to her heavenly home Saturday, May 4, 2019.  She was an advocate for inflammatory breast cancer and was devoted to her husband, children, and grandchildren.  She was a 1972 graduate of Bradley Central High School.  She was a member of Ball Play Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father the Reverend Jack James.

Survivors include her husband Darrell Day of Cleveland; mother Bonita Brackett James of Cleveland; children Brittany Day of Murfreesboro and Dustin (Julie) Day of Cleveland; grandchildren Callie Day and Laura Day of Cleveland; and mother-in-law Essie Day of Cleveland.

The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Ball Play Baptist Church with the Reverend David Disney, the Reverend Matthew Harris, and the Reverend Darren Fansler officiating.  Interment will follow in Ball Play Baptist Church Cemetery with Fred Rush III, Justin Rush, Jeremy Sharp, Coleby Hooker, Brett Stacy, and Daniel Ledford serving as pallbearers. 

Her family will receive friends from 5:00 –8:00 p.m. at Fike Randolph and Son Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 7, 2019.  The family will also receive friends from 1:00 -2:00 p.m. at the church prior to the service on Wednesday.
