Barbara Jean McBee Wright

On Tuesday, April 30, 2019, Barbara Jean McBee Wright went to her heavenly home, at the age of 83.  Barbara was born June 9, 1935 to Joe and Ethel McBee in Booneville, Tennessee.  She loved God and her family above all else.  She will be remembered by all who knew her for her loving, Christian spirit. She was a long time and faithful member of the Central Church of Christ in Cleveland, Tennessee.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Ethel Nelson McBee and Joe Lillard McBee, her siblings, Virgil McBee, Mary Ruth Haggard, James McBee, Dorothy McGee, and Bobby McBee.

Barbara will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 65 years, Robert W. Wright and her children Stephen (Lou Ann) Wright, Cindy Freeman, Audrey (Kevin) Dunnebacke, and Penny (Paul) Ragland. Barbara will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Mary (Lukas) Salyer, Ashley (Jeff) Gerald, Jennifer (Eric) Cavett, Joshua McElhiney, Rob Wright, Peyton McElhiney, Kayla West, Kyle West, Allison Ragland, Andrew Ragland, and several great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her sister Margaret McBee McGee, her brother Kenneth (Myra) McBee, sisters-in-law Barbara McBee Warner, Anne Wright, Mary Ann (Tom) Price and countless nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 6, 2019 at Central Church of Christ, 200 25th Street, NW, Cleveland, TN.  Interment will be at 5:30 p.m. (Eastern Time) at Hazel Cemetery, Bell Buckle, TN.

Her family will receive friends from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
