Arvil Weir

Arvil Weir, 88, of Cleveland, passed away Monday, March 11, 2019 at his home. He was a carpenter for many years.  He was of the Baptist faith. 

He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Ann Mikel Weir; parents Hubert and Hobert Weir; sons Mikey Ray Weir and Ricky Weir; brothers Lloyd Weir, Nathan Weir, Luke Weir, and Luther Weir; sisters Lissie Rogers and Linnabelle Crisp.

Survivors include his children Belinda Fay Grey and husband Tom of McDonald, TN and Donna Jean Williams of Corinth, New York; grandchildren Dustan Weir of Cleveland, Dustin “Dusty” Elliott of Cleveland, Eric Elliott of Knoxville, Paula West of Cleveland, Ashley Elliott of Knoxville; 10 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2019 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph and Son Funeral Home with Pastor David Evans officiating. 

His family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday March 13, 2019 at the funeral home.

The family wishes extend a special thank you to Sandra Renner of GA for her care giving; also to Kathy Weir, David Weir, Jack and Linda Ingram, Donnie and Sam Rogers, Regina Thacker, and Jimmy Mikel for the food, visits and constant support.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to Hospice of Chattanooga at 2145 Keith Street Cleveland, TN 37311.
