Randall C. Mantooth, 83, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2019 at his home. He was a member of South Cleveland United Methodist Church. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Tennessee Tech University and his masters from MTSU. Randall was a retired Bradley County school teacher, where he taught at East Cleveland and Michigan Ave. schools. He also coached girls’ basketball at East Cleveland.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Alice Wright Mantooth, sisters, Myrtle Wattenbarger and Ava Chadwick; brothers, Jewell Mantooth, Bill Mantooth and Knoble Mantooth; son-in-law Ronny Clemmons.
He is survived by his wife, Velvie Worthey Mantooth of Cleveland, children, Sandy Clemmons of Murfreesboro and Randy Mantooth and wife, Patti of Brentwood; five grandchildren, Carrie (Tom) Stafford of Murfreesboro, Delia (Larry) Cheng of Nolensville, Forrest Clemmons of Murfreesboro, Terry Leila Mantooth and Wright Mantooth of Brentwood.
Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2019 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph and Son Funeral Home with Pastor Bert Beria officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
