Jerry LeRoy Oswalt

Jerry Oswalt, 79, of Cleveland passed away Monday, December 31, 2018 in a local healthcare facility.  He was a member of First Baptist Cleveland and a veteran of the United States Air Force.  He owned and operated a landscaping company in Chattanooga and enjoyed doing his work.  He was fond of Ford Mustangs and Indiana University Basketball.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Andrew Oswalt and Ruth Marie Oswalt Fett and sister, Madeline Owens.

Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Terry Oswalt of Cleveland; children, Ronna Wells of Trenton, GA, Randy Ausdran and wife, Holly of Signal, Mt., Darcy Lansbery and husband, Rick of Hammond, IN, Marsha Orbke Wade of Lebanon, and Joshua Gregg and wife Hannah of Flagstaff, AZ; sixteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; brother, Charles Bud Oswalt of Hillard, FL; several nieces and nephews also survive.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 4, 2019 in Chattanooga National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Shenandoah Baptist Church Boys Ranch, 138 Osment Road SE, Cleveland, TN 37323.
