Eddie R. Epperson, 92, of Cleveland passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018 in a local healthcare facility. He was a member of West Cleveland Baptist Church and he was and antique car enthusiast. He was employed as foreman over the carpenters at Imperial Chemical Industries of America for 15 years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Flora Lee “Bill” Epperson; three sisters, Tommie Hilliard, Irene Howard and Faye Moore and brother, Vernon Epperson. He is survived by his two children, Bruce Epperson and wife, Susie of Maryville, TN and Tobe Epperson of Cleveland; five grandchildren, Eric Epperson and wife Jennifer of Huntsville, AL, Andrew Epperson of Maryville, Matthew Epperson and wife, Marie of Cleveland, Tige Epperson and wife, Telethia of Cleveland and Lainey Epperson of Plant City, FL and three great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2018 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph and Son Funeral Home with Pastor Arris Cavender officiating. Interment will follow in Tennga Baptist Church Cemetery in Tennga, GA with his grandsons serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
