Mary (Nadine) Kinser a resident of Cleveland passed away at the home of her daughter, Elisa Howard, on November 13, 2018. She was born November 16, 1930 and passed away just three days shy of her 88th birthday. She was the fifth child and last of her six siblings to pass away.
Nadine was a homemaker, priding herself in taking care of her husband, her home, and her children. She was an accomplished seamstress and sewed all her and her daughter’s clothes. She hand-stitched a butterfly bedspread (which she still used), a Joseph coat of many colors, drapes and many quilts, including a Dutch Boy and Dutch Girl quilt for each of her children. She canned and froze vegetables each summer from the garden. She loved to cook for her family, especially her grand and great-grandchildren. She was a faithful member of Lebanon Baptist Church from her childhood until her health began to decline and she could not attend regularly. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was the daughter of the late Isaac and Nora Jones Goins and had lived in Bradley County all her life. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of forty-two years, Harle Kinser, Sisters: Dorothy Self, Edith Brown and Louise Turner; brothers: Denver and Edwin Goins, Son-in-law: George (Sonny) Howard and George’s son, Tony Howard.
She is survived her daughter, Elisa Kinser Howard; son and daughter- in-law, Aaron and Becky Kinser; grandson: Brad (Jennifer) Kinser; granddaughter: Jaclyn (Matt) Rymer; three great-grandchildren who she adored: Rebecca Hazy, Mason Kinser, and Jentzen Rymer and step-great-grandchildren and their children.
The funeral will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 16, 2018 at Lebanon Baptist Church with Adam Harden and Mike Rymer officiating. Interment will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery with Randy Goins, Steve Goins, Clark Breese, Brad Kinser, and Matt Rymer serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbears will be the great-grandchildren: Rebecca Hazy, Mason Kinser and Jentzen Rymer.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the church prior to the service.
