Luba Jane “Corky” Geren Hall, 72, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2018 at a local health care facility. She worked with SunTrust Bank for 20 years and was with the Bradley County Clerk’s office for 10 years. Corky was of the Church of God faith. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore R. Geren and Margaret M. Coleman Geren; nephew, Michael Cissom; and brother-in-law, John R. Cissom.
Survivors include her two sons, Scott Hall and wife, Sandi and Shane Hall, all of Cleveland; three grandchildren, Whitney Hall, Chelsie Hall and Shyla Hall; three great grandchildren, Zayden Hall, Zane Hall and Zowie Hall; one sister, Jimmie Cissom of Cleveland; three brothers, Leonard “Buddy” Geren, Ray (Brenda) Geren and Steve (Sherry) Geren, all of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with the Reverend Betsy Switzer officiating. The interment will follow in Fort Hill Cemetery with Ray Geren, Steve Geren, Scott Hall, Shane Hall, Bobby Cissom, Roger Cissom and Dewayne Cissom serving as pallbearers.
Her family will receive friends from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
