Carmen Renee Orr

Carmen Renee Orr, 46, of Cleveland, passed away into the loving, eternal embrace of her Lord and Savior on Tuesday morning, July 31, 2018 after a long, arduous battle with cancer.  She was a loving wife and mother and will be remembered as one who always put the needs of her family before her own. 

She was also a dedicated nurse for over twenty years and will be remembered by many for her compassion and unwavering care for others, especially those in the most vulnerable stages of life.  Carmen was also an advocate for those without a voice.  Her steadfast faith in God helped her through many difficult times, always shining as a beacon of hope.

Survivors include her loving husband, J. Whitney Orr of Cleveland; sons, Jacob Carrell and Joshua Caine Orr, both of Cleveland; daughter, Olivia Orr of Cleveland; mother, Audie West of Cleveland; sister, Sarah of Chattanooga; brother, Alan of Baltimore, MD; mother-in-law, Janice Orr; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 2, 2018 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Dr. Jay McCluskey officiating.  A private interment will follow the service.  Mel Rinehart, Trevis Orr, Michael Darrity, Cody Headrick, Jordan Snyder and Justin Waggoner will serve as pallbearers.

Her family will receive friends from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.
