Thad Marvin Spurlin

Thad Marvin Spurlin, 50, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018 at a local hospital while holding the hand of his wife, Nola Jayne and the hand of his daughter, Myra.  He spent many joyful years collecting records with his wife and best friends, Shawn and Maria.  Thad was a lifelong parishioner of St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church.  He was well loved by all that knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Spurlin; and his brothers, Dennis and Joseph Spurlin; and step son, Craig Ledford.

Survivors include his wife, Nola Jayne Ledford Spurlin; mother, Joyce Spurlin; children, Myra Brooks and husband, Michael, Anna Spurlin and Mel Spurlin; granddaughters, Chloë and Nóra Brooks who were the loves of his life; brothers, Scott Spurlin and Philip Spurlin; sister, Karen Spurlin; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 26,, 2018 at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church with Father Mike Nolan officiating. 

The family will have a visitation at 10:30 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
