Rhoda A. Foster-Smith

Rhoda A. Foster- Smith, 84, of Cleveland passed away Friday, July 6, 2018 in a Dayton healthcare facility. She was a member of Union Grove Church of Christ for 60 years and was employed with the Bradley County school system for 50 years as bookkeeper in the central office.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Smith; parents, Arlie W. and Jessie Lea Kelly Foster; brothers and sisters-in-law, J.D. Foster and Shirley, Alvin Foster and Frances; and nephew, D.J. Foster.

Survivors include nieces, Athena Gilbert (Roger), and April Foster all of Cleveland; great niece, Madyson Foster of Cleveland; great nephews, Nathan Gilbert (Amy) of Maryville, Jeremy Gilbert (Erkia) of Murfreesboro, Kevin Gilbert and Adam Foster both of Cleveland.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 9, 2018 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Minister Steve Hall officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens.

Her family will receive friends from 3:00-5:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
