Dr. Ozane R. Adams

Dr. Ozane R. Adams, 91, of Cleveland passed away Monday, June 25, 2018.  She came to Cleveland in 1967 and was part of the first faculty at Cleveland State Community College.  Ozane received her D. Ed. in Arts and Education at Middle Tennessee State University.  In addition to her family, her interests included horses, needle work and college basketball.  Earlier in her life she was involved with scouting.  She was a member of Central Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James H. Robinson and Nellie Salmon Robinson; husband, Albert B. Adams; four sisters; and four brothers.

Survivors include her son, Michael Adams of Cleveland; grandson, Brian Adams and wife, Jackie of Wetumpka, AL; great grandson, Tanner Adams of Wetumpka, AL; her only living sibling, Carolyn Forrest of The Villages, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 28, 2018 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Minister Ryan Ary officiating. 

Her family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. CDT on Friday, June 29, 2018 in the Puryear City Cemetery in Henry County, TN.
