Victor Weston
Victor Cecil Pirkle/Weston, 88, of Cleveland passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018. He was born on May 5, 1929. He served in the U.S. Navy Band during the Korean War. He was musically talented and played jazz on the piano and the trombone. Victor worked as a hairstylist in Michigan and California and worked security in Las Vegas before returning home to Cleveland.
Victor was preceded in death by his first wife, Evelyn Naina Powel Pirkle of Michigan and second wife, Carmelita Kurkoski Weston of Las Vegas; parents, Thomas Cecil Pirkle and Minnie Avo N. Davis Pirkle; sister, Patricia Mae Pirkle Bunting (Harvey) of Lucerne, CA; step mother, Mary Frances Black Mason Pirkle of Cleveland and step-brother, Vernon Cecil Mason, Of Rossville, GA.
Survivors include step brothers and sisters, Mildred Lennis Mason Daniel of Cleveland, Donald Lawson Pirkle of Knoxville, and Sylvia Marlene Pirkle Montalbano of Austell, GA and Melvin Douglas Pirkle of Cleveland and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 15, 2018 in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
