Martha Geneva Ewing, 92, of Cleveland, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 in a Chattanooga healthcare facility. She was a member of Broad Street United Methodist Church and was retired from Bradley Memorial Hospital after seventeen years of service. She was a devoted wife and mother and spent her life in service to God through her loving care for others.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Ewing; parents, George Harold Angel and Edith Ament Angel and brother, George Angel.
Survivors include her children, Debbie Humberd (Scott) of Cleveland and Julie Etheridge of Cohutta, GA; four grandchildren, Jason Humberd (Christy) of Etowah, Sarah Monjaras (Alex) of Tampa, FL, Geoffrey Humberd (Angela) of Cleveland and Laura Thigpen Richardson of Cleveland and eight great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2017 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph and Son Funeral Home with the Reverend Debbie Stokes officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery in Sweetwater.
Her family will receive friends from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. on Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.
