Sharon Kay Evans

God has now received another Angel, Sharon Kay Evans, 60. She entered the gates of heaven on October 6, 2017.

She was born in Cleveland November 18, 1956. Sharon loved her family, her God and her church family. Sharon was a member of Community Hall Church.

Sharon loved to travel with her loving husband and her son.  They enjoyed many cruises and visiting with relatives in many cities.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Stamey and Helen Louise Stamey;  grandparents, John York and  Nettie Mae York; sister, Tammy Phillips and husband, Andy Phillips; father-in-law, Fred A Evans; aunt, Ruth Grabes; two uncles, Bobby York  and J.L. York.

Sharon leaves behind the love of her life , Mark Anthony Evans of 37 years; her son, Josh Anthony Evans, the light of her life; brother, Randy Stamey; sisters, Donna Sue (Donnie) Pritchard and Shelia Ruth Evans; mother-in-law, Ruby L Evans; three nieces, Danielle Evans, Amanda Presley, Jill (Devin) Skinner; two aunts, Barbara (Bob) Huff and Cordie (Marvin) Davis; cousins, Cindy Worley, Terry Roland, Amy Strubhart; special friend , Debbie Morris; and soon to be daughter-in-law, Charlene (Char) Mason.

The service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Jeanie Cissom officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends from 6:00-9:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
