Lynn P. Schwarz

October 25, 1960 — October 1, 2017

Lynn P. Schwarz, 56, of Ocoee, unexpectedly passed away Sunday, October 1, 2017 at a Chattanooga hospital after a short illness.  She, along with her husband ran Camp Cherokee and was an active member at First Baptist Church of Cleveland and enjoyed working in their outdoor ministry.  Lynn was a registered nurse and also an emergency wilderness first responder.  She was a prayer warrior for the many young people who came to Camp Cherokee.  Lynn lived life to the fullest and loved the Lord with all her heart.  We rejoice in knowing she is hearing her Savior say, “Well done my good and faithful servant.  You have kept the faith and finished the race.”

She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnie L. Perry and Elizabeth Wells Perry; and son, Michael L. Schwarz.

Survivors include her husband, Michael G. Schwarz of Ocoee; daughter, Rebecca E. Williams and husband, Adam of Dallas, GA; two grandchildren, Harrison P. Williams and Elliot R. Williams, both of Dallas, GA; sister, Ann Bozard and husband, John of Orlando, FL; two brothers, Steve Perry and wife, Jody of Stuart, FL and Mark Perry and wife, Taeko of Swansea, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

The service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at First Baptist Church in Cleveland with the Reverend Rusty Asble and the Reverend Steve Cretin officiating.   Blake Allison, Dan Pettit, David Russo, Adam Williams, Garrett Asble and Ridge Asble will serve as pallbearers.  Her family will receive friends from 4:30-6:30 p.m. on Thursday at the church prior to the service.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Osteen Cemetery in Osteen, FL.   Her family will receive friends from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Central Baptist Church in Sanford following the graveside service.
