Alice F. Wheeler

Alice F. Wheeler, 73, of McDonald passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at her home. She attended John’s Memorial Baptist Church. She was retired from Peyton’s Corporation and was a graduate of Bradley Central High School, class of 1962.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Reverend L.V. Ledford and Eula Mae Cunningham Ledford; daughter, Dianna Faye Slaughter; brothers, Leroy Ledford and Gene Ledford; and sisters, Jessie Taylor and Frances McIntyre.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Robert Wheeler of McDonald; daughter, Lisa Slaughter of McDonald; grandchildren, Levi Kibble (Christena) of McDonald, and Kody Erwin of Collegedale; great grandchildren, Salena, Canyon and Mitchell Capetz, Taylor and Shayna Payne; great-great granddaughter, Sarah Hogan; brothers, Winston Ledford and Larry Ledford both of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 11, 2017 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Levi Kibble, Kody Erwin, Brenda Taylor, Donnie Taylor, and Randy Williams serving as pallbearers.

Her family will receive friends from5:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
