Nellie Louise Tanner

Nellie Louise Tanner, 97, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2017 at a local health care facility.  She had been a resident of Red Bank for the past several years prior to her home at the health care facility.

She was the last surviving child of John F. and Daussie Griffith Tanner.  Also preceding her in death were her siblings, Bessie O’Briant (Fleet), Hoyt Tanner (Gertrude), Lawrence Tanner (Lela), Moneta Moore (Madge), Willard “Bill” Tanner (Manola) and Lorrayne Clevenger (Charlie).

Survivors include several nieces and nephews and many dear friends, especially Kim, Billie and Joyce who helped with her care in her last years at home. 

The service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 16, 2017 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Coby Goins officiating.  A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Her family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.
