Johnny Collins, Sr., 68, lifelong resident of Cleveland passed away Sunday, January 1, 2017 in a local hospital. He was a veteran of the US Navy and was of the Baptist faith. Johnny enjoyed drag racing, golf, and woodworking.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert P. and Alice J. Horn Collins; siblings: Buddy Collins, Mary Stewart, Sharron Carden, Janet Collins, and Gene Collins.
He is survived by his wife, Regina Collins of Cleveland; children, Wesley Collins, Jr. and wife, Lisa, Alicia Webb and husband Billy; grandchildren: Darren Collins and wife Kelley, Summer Collins, Savannah Collins, Makayla Webb, Austin Webb, Jake Webb; great grandchild, Cyler Collins; siblings, Linda Crittenden, Tom Collins, Shelby Smith, and Patsy Harris; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will conducted on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Collins officiating. Interment will follow in Beaty Cemetery with military honors. Ronnie Rogers, Buddy Keller, Colby Keller, Michael Carden, Chris Carden and Tommy Kimsey will serve as pallbearers.
His family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
