Beulah Denton Lawson, 93, of Cleveland, passed away Friday, November 4, 2016 at a local health care facility. She was the ultimate mother to her children and family was always first. She loved nature, flowers and her cats.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Evert Lawson; parents, Charlie George Denton and Fannie Caroline Skinner Denton; brothers, Richard Denton, Floyd Denton, Ben Denton and Ed Denton; and sister, Pansy Denton Poe.
Survivors include her two daughters, Linda Brown and husband, Gene of Georgetown and Jerrie Guffey and husband, Dennis of Greenville, SC; four grandchildren, David Brown and wife, Ying of Cary, NC, Lawson Brown of Cleveland, Christina Roma and husband, Jeff of Waxhaw, NC and Rachel Carter and husband, Blake of Greer, SC; five great grandchildren, Phillip Roma, Maggie Roma, Alex Carter, Claire Brown and Nash Brown; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 6, 2016 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with the Reverend Allan Lovelace officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday morning at Sunset Memorial Gardens with her niece, Delores Millians officiating. Phillip Roma, Alex Carter, Len Millians, Jeff Roma, Frank Edwards and Blake Carter will serve as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
Her family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00-3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
