Madeline Ann Hayes

Madeline Ann Hayes, 79, of Chattanooga, and a former resident of Ocoee, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2016 at a Chattanooga health care facility.  She was retired from high end clothing sales for Lord & Taylor, Saks Fifth Avenue and Loveman’s after 15 years of service.  Madeline was an animal lover.  She was of the Christian faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver Holmes Hayes and Madelyn Florence Thomas Hayes; and brothers, Tommy Hayes and Harold Rhea Hayes.

Survivors include her daughter, Denise Starbird of Chattanooga; sons, Sky Starbird of Atlanta, GA and Edwin (Denise) Starbird of Alpharetta, GA; granddaughter, Christina Starbird; and dog, Sweetie and cat, Gracie.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at Dill Cemetery in Polk County with Minister Steve Hall officiating.

Her family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home in Cleveland prior to the service.
