Quinton E. Watkins

Quinton E. Watkins, 75, of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at his home.  He retired from Grace Chemical in Chattanooga after 30 years.  He was a member of Samples Memorial Baptist Church.  Quinton enjoyed camping.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Edith Gates Watkins.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Lottie McAlister Watkins of Cleveland; son, Steve Watkins of Cleveland; three sisters, Phyllis Heifner, Linda (J.L.) Jones and Dean King, all of Cleveland; sister-in-law, Kathy (Ronald) Davis of Cleveland; three brothers-in-law, Roy (Betty) McAlister of Cleveland, Michael (Bettina) McAlister of Hixson and Gary (Sue Gatlin) McAlister of Cleveland and Maryville; special aunt, Melba Wright of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2016 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Cameron and Pastor Lee Ingram officiating.  Interment will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Samples Memorial Baptist Cemetery with the deacons of Samples Memorial Baptist Church serving as pallbearers.  A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

His family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00– 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
