Kathleen Ann Minwell

Kathleen Ann Minwell, 61, of Ooltewah, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at her residence.  She was an elementary and pre-school teacher in upstate New York and also taught C.C.D.  While in Clarksville, TN she volunteered with the soup kitchen.  Kathleen was a parishioner at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Stanley Warzecha and Genevieve Mary Kwapinski Warzecha. 

Survivors include her husband, Daniel Minwell of Ooltewah; sons, Dr. Gregory Minwell and wife, Raquel of Baltimore, MD and Thomas Minwell of Hixson, TN; sisters, Mary Genevieve Connolly and husband, Raymond of Buffalo, NY and Joanne Pauline Babiarz and husband, Bruce of Piscataway, NJ; mother-in-law, Katherine Minwell of Macedon, NY; brother-in-law, Kurt Minwell and wife, Kathy of Walworth, NY; and several nieces and nephews. 

The funeral mass will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church with Father Mike Nolan officiating.  The inurnment will follow in the church columbarium. 

Her family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00–7:00 p.m. at Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home.  

The family requests that memorials be made to St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, 900 Clingan Ridge Drive NW, Cleveland, TN  37312.
