William ''Bill'' A. Hobbs

William ''Bill'' A. Hobbs, 78, of Cleveland, passed away Friday, March 11, 2016 in a local hospital.  He was retired from Olin Chemicals after 38 years of service.  Bill was a veteran of the National Guard.  He was a member of the Elks Lodge BPOE 1944 where he served as a past exalted ruler.  He was also a part of the Public Safety Unit of the Cleveland Police Department.  Bill was a member of the West Cleveland Baptist Church. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Henry Hobbs and Zelma Goins Hobbs. 

Survivors include his beloved wife of 59 years, Frankie Farris Hobbs; sons, Jeff Hobbs and wife, Kim of Cleveland and Tony Hobbs of Soddy Daisy; and four grandchildren, Tony Bret Hobbs, Colton Hobbs, Shelby Kelley and Avery Kelley. 

The body will lie in repose on Sunday, March 13, 2016 from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. at Fike- Randolph & Son Funeral Home for family and close friends.

A graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pastor Matt Ward officiating.
