Frankie Lee Burris Womac, 86, of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at her home. She retired as a seamstress from American Uniform after 35 years of service. She was of the Baptist faith. Frankie was a NASCAR fan and also enjoyed quilting and crafts.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Zena Smith Burris; husband, Howard Womac; and niece, Gail Liner.
Survivors include her sisters, Dorothy Liner of Cleveland and Beatrice Tallent of Copper Hill; niece, Kay Williams of Cleveland; nephew, Clifford Liner of Murfreesboro; great nieces and nephews, Kristi (Luke) Parker and their son, Garrett of Murfreesboro, Jeremy (Jaclyn) Williams and their children, Ava and Jack of Birchwood, Sean (Promise) Williams of Cleveland, Joseph (Judy) Toomey and Zelda Toomey Lee.
The funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2016 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Pastor David Peters officiating. Interment will follow in Double Springs Cemetery with Joseph Toomey, Garrett Parker, Jeremy Williams, Sean Williams, Clifford Liner and Luke Parker serving as pallbearers.
Her family will receive friends from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
The family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
