Margaret Talley

Margaret J. Talley, 81, of Cleveland passed away Sunday, January 24, 2016 in an Athens hospital.

Margaret was a member of Ridgeview Baptist Church and had worked as a waitress at Holiday Inn for 17 years.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank McKinley, second husband, M.L. Hyde and third husband, Jack Talley; her parents, Johnny and Lonna Grissom McDowell; her brothers, J.B. McDowell and Charles McDowell; and a sister, Marie Millard.

Survivors include her son, Johnny (Virginia) McKinley of Tellico Plains; step-sons, Bill Talley of Texas and Jesse McKinley of Arkansas; sisters, Nannie Bradshaw of Meigs County, Nell (Kenneth) Ingram and Hazel (Seldon) Womac, of Cleveland and Ruby Matthews of Riceville; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted, Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with the Reverend Jim Caywood officiating. Interment will follow in Beaty Cemetery with Tommy Caywood, Josh Caywood, Greg Bacon, Bradley Bacon, Joey Rue and Ronny McDowell serving as pallbearers. Rodney Bacon and Kenneth Ingram will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Her family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. on, Thursday, January 28, prior to the service at the funeral home.
