Everett William Odom, 83, of Cleveland passed away Monday, December 7, 2015 at an area healthcare facility.
He was a member of Big Springs United Methodist Church. After 21 years of serving his country, Mr. Odom retired as a Master Sergeant with the U.S. Air Force. He was a veteran of Korea and Vietnam. He was also retired from TVA after 18 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John N. and Hattie Arp Odom.
Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Vivian Murphy Odom of Cleveland; children, Stephanie Odom Reali of Cleveland, Karen Ann (Joey) Parker of Tuscaloosa, AL, John A. (Sherry) Odom of Cleveland, Susan L. (Keith) Morris of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Christopher L. Dilbeck, Michael J. Dilbeck, Jeffrey A. Parker, Katherine M. Bailey, Kerry J. Parker, Katey E. Parker, Jesse W. Parker, Jason B. Parker, and John W. (Will) Odom; three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 11, 2015 in the chapel of Fike- Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Rev. David Whaley officiating.
Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with military honors. The service will conclude with a white dove release ceremony.
His family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 10, at the funeral home.
