Era Ann Black, 91, of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2015 at a local health care facility. She was a supervisor at Hardwick Clothes. Ann was a member of Waterville Baptist Church for 50 years. She was also a member of the Antique Car Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Rossie Gregory Cox; daughter, Glenda Rae Waters; and brothers, Jack Cox, John Cox and Al Cox. Survivors include her husband of 72 years, Clarence Black of Cleveland; daughter, Betty Maney and husband, Tom of Cleveland; five grandchildren, Alesia Cabrera, Calvin Maney, Doug Maney and Bridget (Glenn) Marr, all of Cleveland and Dana (Tony) Roberts of Athens; eight great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; two sisters, Rita Wilson of Garden City, MI and Peggy Wall of Etowah; two brothers, Bobby (Sandra) Cox and Ray Cox, all of Etowah; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 25, 2015 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Allen Lovelace officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with grandchildren serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. Her family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.
