Lawrence A. Raynor

Lawrence Raynor, 79, of Athens, passed away Friday, October 16, 2015 at his home. He was of the Catholic faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fredrick Murray and Dorothy Robinson Francis. Survivors include his wife, Alma Raynor of Athens; children, Amber Doucette of Athens, Diane Fisher and Eddie Turbush, both of New York and Michael Turbush of Florida; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; four brothers, James Raynor and Roscoe Francis, both of New York, John Francis of North Carolina and William Murray of Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews. Burial will be held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in New York. Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
