Melba Baker Randolph, 86, of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at a local hospital. She was a member of Mount Olive Ministries. She was a woman of prayer and led the choir in several churches over the years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Clay Baker and Hattie Cash Baker; four brothers, Willis Baker, Artie Baker, Ralph Baker and Paul Baker; sister, Louise Hickman; grandson, Doug Ramey; and two great grandsons. Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Charlie Randolph; four children, Peggy Ramey, Jeannetta Farmer and husband, Roy, Deborah Eslinger and Mickey Randolph, all of Cleveland; seven grandchildren, Robin Dotson, Kina Ferguson, Shay Stewart, Rodney Ramey, Christy Baker, Amber Eslinger and Darla Ramey; 16 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2015 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Sears officiating. Interment will be on Friday at 10:00 a.m. in Mount Olive Cemetery with Austin Eslinger, Skyler Sluder, Michael Baker, Jadin Hudson, Rodney Ramey and Dustin Sharp serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. Her family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.
