Perry W. Harden

June 14, 1924 — July 18, 2015

Perry W. Harden, 91, lifelong resident of Cleveland passed away Saturday, July 18, 2015 in a local hospital. Mr. Harden was a veteran of the US Army, serving in WWII and the Korean War. He was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Hysinger Harden; parents, Jess and Rutha Mary Harden; and brothers, Carnation Harden and Merrill Harden. Survivors include his children, Steve Harden (Sherry) and Tressa Almond (Glenn) all of Cleveland; grandchildren, Tracey Witt (Jeff) of Cleveland, Valerie Harden of Panama City, FL and Brooke Plank (Edwin) of Cleveland; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2015 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with the Reverend Ed Eldridge officiating. Interment will follow in Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Honors. Christian Noble, Montgomery Callaway, Edwin Plank, David Harden, David Thomason and Jon Prince will serve as pallbearers. Bob Loope and John Adams will serve as honorary pallbearers.
