Tom Jones, Sr.

Thomas Allen "Tom" Jones, Sr., 66, of Cleveland passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015 in a Chattanooga hospital. Mr. Jones was a well known car dealer in Cleveland since 1980. His hobby was collecting vintage VW's and he enjoyed trout fishing. He was a member of Samples Memorial Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.B. and Viola Jones; and brothers, Perry Jones and Robert Jones. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Lola B. "Sally" Jones of Cleveland; children, Thomas A. "Tommy" Jones, Jr. and wife Tracey and Keith Jones all of Cleveland; grandchildren, Sarah Jones and Ashley Jones both of Cleveland; siblings: Jeanette Stevison and husband Gary, Charles Cecil Jones and wife Linda, Glenna Gay, Wanda Smith and husband Allen and Donnie Jones all of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Samples Memorial Baptist Church with the Reverend Lee Ingram, Reverend Mark Cameron and Reverend Mike Rymer officiating. Interment will follow in Samples Memorial Cemetery with Mike Turner, John Stockard, Bud Holmes, Doug Ingram, Donnie Hyde, and John Terry Jones serving as pallbearers. Gary Wallace will serve as honorary pallbearer. His family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home and for one hour prior to the service at the church Saturday.
