Elizabeth "Lib" Allen, 86, of Cleveland, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, July 6, 2015 at her home. She started working at Central Drug Store at age 14 and continued there until May of 2015. Lib was a member of North Cleveland Church of God. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed being around people. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Rogers, Sr. and Laura Benson Rogers; husband, William Lawrence Allen; brother, Lloyd Rogers, Jr., and sisters, Willie Woody, Polly Foster and Joyce Steele. Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Gail Degler and husband, Carlos Arroyo of Cleveland; grandson, James Allen Degler and wife, Amanda of Cleveland; great grandchildren, Taylor Degler of Louisiana and Andy Degler and fiancé, Mariah of Cleveland; sisters-in-law, Reba Rogers of Cleveland and Barbara Still and husband, Kenneth, both of Ooltewah; special niece, Lorie Trentham and son, Tate of Cleveland; nephews, Alton "Al" Rogers and wife, Barbara, Darrell Rogers, Randy "Doc" Rogers, Johnny Evans and wife, Debbie and Greg Steele; several great nieces and nephews; and special friends, Chris Rymer, Becky Goode, Pat Craig and all of those at Central Drug Store. The funeral will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Mitch Maloney officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Her family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
