Victor Hollifield, Jr.

Victor Hollifield, Jr., 78, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2015 in a Chattanooga hospital. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and worked locally as a roofer. He attended church at North Cleveland Towers. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Victor Hollifield, Sr. and Bertie Brown Hollifield, and his wife, Cora Mae Sutton Hollifield. Mr. Hollifield is survived by four children: Vickie Park of Cleveland, Susan Patton of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Steven Hollifield of Athens, and Brian Hollifield and wife, Sarah of Athens; nine grandchildren, several great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; two brothers: Virgil Hollifield and wife, Lillian of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Jack Hollifield and wife, Shirley of Cleveland; one sister, Peggy Duke of Dalton, Georgia; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Cedar Springs Cemetery with Asa Flowers, John Downing, Jackie Gates, Paul Miller, Colton Mantooth and Eric Mantooth serving as pallbearers.
