Bonnie M. Cox, 96, of Cleveland passed away Monday, March 16, 2015 at her home. She was the oldest member of Cedar Springs Baptist Church where she was a member of the Joy Sunday school class. Bonnie was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed quilting. Her hobbies were fishing and watching ball games. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Cox; son, Ira Cox; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; parents, James Austin and Ora Parker; one sister; and nine brothers. Survivors include her four daughters: Jeannie Pierce (Billy Wayne), Faye Dunn, Paulette Westmoreland and Carol Boone all of Cleveland; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; sixteen great-great grandchildren; one great-great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Cedar Springs Baptist Church with Pastor Gary Higgins and the Reverend Leroy Elliott officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Crandall, GA with grandchildren serving as pallbearers. The service will conclude with a white dove release ceremony.
