Odessa L. Baliles, 78, of Cleveland passed away February 23, 2015 in a Chattanooga hospital. She was a member of Bound For That City Church and had retired from Charleston Hosiery after 15 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cloys Baliles; parents, Monroe and Margaret J. Harris; brothers: Ottis Harris, Elmer Harris, Claude Harris, Winston Harris, Ronald Harris and Monroe Harris; and sister, Norma Myers. Survivors include children: Joyce Peru and husband Billy of Rome, GA, Harvey Baliles and wife Kathy of Rocky Face, GA, Connie York and husband Anthony of Cleveland and Debbie Waters of Cleveland; nine grandchildren: Mark Wells, Kristy Coffia, Joey Peru, Brian Peru, Savannah Baliles, Jody Baliles, Janet Baliles, Tonnia Brown and Tina McDougal; several great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Lavada Harris and Louise Harris both of Gastonia, NC; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 27, 2015 at Bound For That City Church with Pastors Johnny Prater and Lonnie Harris officiating. A white dove release ceremony will follow the service at the church. Interment will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Turtletown with Mark Wells, Jody Baliles, Drake Fields, Dusty Brown, Chris Price and Donnie Lorance serving as pallbearers. Her family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday at Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home.
