Anne L. Culberson

Anne L. Culberson, 88, a lifelong resident of Cleveland passed away Friday, February 20, 2015 in a local healthcare facility. She was of the Church of God of Prophecy faith her entire life. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them as much as possible. She had a wonderful sense of humor and very quick wit, and would share funny stories with her children that will be retold by them for years to come. She will be sorely missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Howard Culberson who passed away in 2012; parents, James Wayne and Olivia Caroline Sample; grandson, William David "Davey" Holt; siblings: Chester Sample, Ernest Sample, Thomas F. Sample, Margaret Sample, Edna Sample and Pritchard Sample. Survivors include her three children: Robin Fiveash of Cleveland, Leanne Fuller of Greenville, SC and Caroline Holt of Lake City, TN; five grandchildren: Joseph Fiveash, Amy Ledford and husband Jason, Alan Holt, Ryan Holt and Grant Holt; great-grandchildren: KeJuan Morris, Joseph Heath Fiveash, Jeffery Fiveash, Jason Fiveash and Noah Ledford; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 24, 2015 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Mendel officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens.
