Homer L. Freeman, 72, lifelong resident of Cleveland passed away Saturday, February 14, 2015 at his daughter's home. Mr. Freeman was born September 4, 1942. He was a veteran of the US Army and retired from Cleveland Utilities. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his mother & father, Ardella and Allie Parris; brother, Ronald Freeman; sister, Carolyn Plumley; and brothers-in-law, Jimmy Plumley and Jackie Crumbley. Survivors include his wife, Charlotte; son, Jeffrey Freeman and wife, Michaele; daughter, Sheila Howard and husband Jeff; grandsons, Jonathan Howard and wife Loni, Brandon and Tyson Freeman; great grandchildren, Galilee Howard, Kylie and Cameron Freeman; and sisters, Martha Crumbley, Elaine Wax and husband Don and Ruthene Rivers. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 18, 2015 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Travis Humbard and the Reverend Ronnie Ledford officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Brian Crumbley, Marcus Houston, Doug Cline, Greg Howard, Allen Stewart, Chris Naranjo, Stanley Blankenship and Joseph Newman serving as pallbearers.
