Nina Ruth Melton

Nina Ruth Melton, 74, a resident of Cleveland, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, January 10, 2015. She was a graduate of Bradley Central High School, class of 1958. She was known for her love for her family and her Lord and was filled with deep compassion for others. She was a member of the North Cleveland Church of God Ladies Prayer and Praise Circle. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Sloma Murray; and by three siblings: Harry Murray, Ruby Carlton, and C.L. Murray. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her beloved husband of 47 years, Henry Melton of Cleveland; daughters, Melissa Barrett, Michelle Melton; son, Milan Melton; six grandchildren: Brandon Melton, Amber Rosencrantz, Skyler Boatwright, Kaylee Melton, Britlee Melton and Weston Melton; son-in-law, Gill Barrett and daughter-in-law, Stacy Melton; seven brothers: Forrest Murray, Ivan Murray, James Murray, Kenneth Murray, Lester (Gus) Murray, Carl Murray and Reverend Larry Murray; four sisters: Pauline Hammond, Bobbie Tucker, Carolyn Beavers and Shirley Lowe. The Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2015 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with the Reverend Larry Murray officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Brandon Melton, Tim Melton, Monte Lowe, Randall Beavers, Brian Crowe and Jeffery Jackson serving as pallbearers.
