Faustine Dixon Guthrie

Faustine Dixon Guthrie, 82, of Cleveland, passed away Friday, January 9, 2015 in a local hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of Lebanon Baptist Church. She was a well loved resident of Life Care of Cleveland where everyone enjoyed hearing her play the piano. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bascom and Ellave Stanley Dixon; and brothers, B.T. Dixon, C.L. Dixon, Forrest Dixon and Wayne Dixon. Survivors include her children, Gordon (Cynthia) Guthrie and Brian Guthrie, all of Cleveland, Mark (Linda) Guthrie of Sidney, OH and Pamela (Thomas) Hagan of Leonardtown, MD; and sister, Pauline Kirkpatrick of Cleveland; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 11, 2015 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with the Reverend Judson Kirkpatrick officiating. Interment will follow in Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery. Her family will receive friends from 1:30-2:30 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.
