Sandra "Sandee" Bird Caylor

Sandra "Sandee" Bernice Bird Caylor, 70, of Cleveland, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 7, 2015. She was an active member of East Side Church of Christ, where she taught Sunday School for 45 years and was the church secretary for 10 years. She was a graduate of Bradley Central High School, class of 1962. Sandee was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother (Meme), sister and friend. She was preceded in death by her mother, Bernice Bird Tinsley; father, Fletcher Bird; and infant son. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Doyle Caylor; son, Kevin Caylor and wife, Dana; daughter, Kendra Puckett and husband, John; grandchildren, Jordan Caylor, Lauren Caylor, Eli Puckett, Brianne Prichett and Zachary Prichett; brothers, Larry Bird and Richard Bird; uncles, Clifford McConnell and Sam McConnell; and several nieces and nephews, all of Cleveland. The funeral will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at East Side church of Christ with Minister Jeff Archey and Minister Bill Maynard officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Jordan Caylor, Eli Puckett, Zachary Prichett, Shawn McKay, Gary Jones and Keith Buckner serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. Her family will receive friends from 12:00-3:00 p.m. on Saturday at the church prior to the service.
