Anna Ruth Baker Ditmore, 75, of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2014 in a Chattanooga hospital. She was retired from Classic Covers. She was a member of Mt. Olive Ministries but attended United Christian Church. She was also a member of Common Threads Quilting Group. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Ditmore; her parents, Paul and Christine Hixson Baker; and one brother, Mitchell Baker. Survivors include her daughter, Pam Elliott and husband, Richard of Cleveland; three grandchildren: Jacob Elliott of Cleveland, Richard Elliott Jr. and wife Angela of Chatsworth, GA, and Amy Wilcox and husband, Steve of Benton; five great grandchildren: Christian Elliott, Brooke Jenkins, Bethany Jenkins, Kayle Wilcox and Cyndal Mitchell; two sisters: Lorene "Dinky" Mowery and Barbara Marr and husband, Terry, all of Cleveland; two brothers: H. C. Baker and wife, Janice of Ringgold, GA, and Paul Baker Jr. and wife, Tina of Riceville; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 12, 2014 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Johnny Hood, Pastor Gary Sears and Pastors Charles and Margie Poteat officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Olive Cemetery with nephews and great nephews serving as pallbearers. Her friends at church will serve as honorary pallbearers.
