Imogene Elizabeth Johnston

Imogene Elizabeth Shuler Johnston, 83, of Cleveland passed away Thursday, November 13, 2014 at her home. She was a graduate of Alcoa High School, class of 1950. Imogene married the love of her life, Kenneth Rogers Johnston on October 22, 1950. She was reared by her late aunt and uncle, Laura and James Joines. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vester and Leona Nix Shuler; brother, Ronnie Shuler; two sons, Stephen Rogers Johnston and Kenneth Wendell Johnston; and granddaughter, Adrienne Marie Johnston. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth; daughters, Patricia Ann Johnston Bennett (Keith), and Deborah Lynne Johnston Bunch (Terrell); stepmother, Birdie Shuler; special daughters-in-law, Teresa Ingram Moses (Willard) and Michelle Austin Goodwin; grandchildren: Jonathan Blair Bennett, Stephen Matthew Johnston, Amanda Austin Willford, Amanda Michelle Bunch Leslie (Brandon), James Brandon Bennett (Whitney), and Laura Elizabeth Bennett; great-grandchildren, Brandon Cooper Leslie and Caroline Grace Leslie; sister, Marilyn Shuler Musgrave (Steve); brother, Donnie Shuler; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and sister-in-law, Lossalie "Pud" Johnston Phipps (Bob). Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 15, 2014 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Caywood officiating. Interment will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at Grandview Cemetery in Maryville with the Reverend Michael Moore officiating.
