Dorothy Stockburger Jaques, 93, formerly of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2014 in Wichita, Kansas. She was a retired kitchen supervisor at Central Christian Church and New Song Academy. Dorothy loved the Lord, Jesus Christ, her family and friends, birds, cooking and gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Bessie Stockburger; twin brother, Donald Stockburger; and brothers, Robert and Edward Stockburger. Survivors include her daughters, Karen Dingler of Downers Grove, IL and Nancy Hansen of Bel Aire, KS; sons, John C. Jaques of Lawrenceville, GA and Richard L. Jaques of Norman, OK; sisters, Cassandra N. Stockburger of New York, NY and Katherine A. Stockburger of Cleveland; 11 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Flint Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Pastor Robert Heflin and Dick Jaques officiating. Interment will follow in Flint Springs Cemetery. Her family will receive friends from 10:30-11:00 a.m. at the church prior to the service. A memorial in her name has been established with Samaritan's Purse, PO Box 3000, Boone NC 28607-3000. Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
