Lucille D. Walker, 87, of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2014 in a local hospital. She was a member of Boanerges Baptist Church. She was a dedicated and devoted mother, grandmother and friend and was a blessing to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lena Walker; husband, George T. "Billy" Walker; son, Roger Waters; sister, Betty Hyatt; and a granddaughter. Survivors include her children, Charles Waters and wife, Vanessa, Dan Waters and wife, Diane, Donnie Waters and Linda, Cecil Walker and wife, Debbie, Pat McGowen and husband, Corky and Luv Watson and husband, Eddie, all of Cleveland; 15 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2014 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with the Pastor Gary Sears officiating. Interment will follow in Charleston Cemetery with David Waters, Scott McGowen, Anthony Waters, Dax McGowen, Mike Watson and Josh Walker serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. Her family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
